What’s the ideal time to finalize the wedding day beauty schedule/start time.

Your final beauty timeline should be set 4–6 weeks before the wedding. We’ll coordinate with you and your photographer to make sure we know the time you need to be ready. Generally about 5-51/2 hours befor your photographer wants you ready.

What makeup brands do you use in your kit?

We like to keep a mix of professional and luxury brands that we know will last and photograph beautifully. Some of our go-to favorites are: GloSkin Beauty, M·A·C Cosmetics, Charlotte Tilbury, Urban Decay, Morphe and Temptu Airbrush. We carefully chose products that work well on different skin types and conditions, color and age so every look is personalized to your face.

What size wedding party can you accommodate?

We can accommodate wedding parties of all sizes. For larger groups, we bring a double team of licensed professionals to ensure everyone is ready on time and feels beautiful. We can also provide an earlier start time if necessary. Early booking is essential so we can plan your timeline and artist team accordingly to ensure we have enough artists to accommodate your wedding day.

Do you provide a timeline for the wedding day?

We do not provide a full wedding day timeline, but we will let you know how much time we need for beauty services. We typically require 45–60 minutes per person, and we recommend starting 5–6 hours before your photographer arrives to ensure everyone is finished on time and stress-free.

How to prepare for the morning of the wedding.

Day of tips to ensure a relaxed, stress free & fun start to your big day When we arrive we will need: A place to set up for makeup/hair <br> Please note: If you have a wedding party of 8 plus, it is strongly suggested that we use 2 rooms, or 2 areas for makeup and hair. Hairspray being used by 2 different hair stylists on 8 people can be very overwhelming. Consider travel fans as well. Natural lighting if possible Outlets that won’t cause any power to trip ( there can be many blow dryers/hot styling tools) Please let everyone know the start time. We don’t provide a schedule, but we do keep everyone moving to be on time Birdal services will be somewhere in the middle of the wedding party. not 1st, not last. Pictures are great for inspiration or from a past look they have had Bring touch up lipsticks /gloss for later Of course wear something that buttons up for easy removal after hair and makeup is done Hair: Everyone should have clean dry hair unless they are doing a blow out. Wet hair takes more time and hair washed the day before stays better unless the hair is very oily Makeup: Everyone should have clean, makeup free, glue free lashes and apply their regular skincare routine prior to having makeup applied.

Do we need to provide our own makeup?

Abosulely not. We provide all professional makeup products needed for your wedding day. If you have any personal favorites or products that work especially well for you, you're welcome to bring them. We provide a lip product for the bride, and we recommend the bridal party bring their own lip gloss or lipstick for touch-ups throughout the day.

Do I really need a bridal trial for my hair and makeup?

Yes! This is an important investment in the day of your wedding. There are many conversations, emails, schedules, and details that To Make Beautiful, Salon and Spa's team will go over before we, "just show up."

Why is bridal hair and makeup more of an investment than a regular appointment?

It's not just for the time we are with you, or a one time service. It's the communication between us, getting to know you and your wedding day vision. Carefully detailing your wedding day time line, organizing your bridal team. Preparing our kits and tools to ensure we are ready for your big day and we meet or exceed your vision.
